Studies show that, in the year 2014, 62.5% of Californians were unaware of the Paid Family Leave program. California’s Paid Family Leave program provides partial wage replacement of up to 6 weeks under certain conditions protected by the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act. These Acts allow employees to take time off of work without fear of retaliation when, for example, they or close family members face serious health conditions, or when a mother is pregnant and must later care for the newborn. Here, at LegalAxxis, we offer a wide range of services related to these laws for an affordable fee. Whether you are an employee or employer, we will determine if these laws are applicable to you and, if so, how to ensure compliance with them. We also help employees who fear that they have been wrongfully retaliated against in violation of these laws, and other state or federal laws. Please contact the firm for a consultation.
